土の色味と風合が魅力的な白花（しらはな）の作品は、備前土を使用し、白く焼成した森本さんのオリジナル。白花という可憐な呼び名は日本の伝統色である白花色（しらはないろ）からとったそう。無釉ですが、高温で焼き締まっているため変化は少なく、使ううちに手に馴染んで、肌触りが良くなるので、どんどん使って経年変化を楽しんで欲しいと森本さん。

His series of « Shirahana » meaning white flower whose name comes from a Japanese traditional color, are high-fired non glazed ceramics and made with the local Bizen soil. It has almost the same characteristics as other Bizen. This is different from traditional whitish Bizen ware called Shirobizen, it’s his original ware.
